The Darren Gusdal Memorial Bursary
 

Beginning in 2017, and continuing as long as the fund is sustained, at least one emerging artist will be awarded a Darren Gusdal Memorial Bursary to attend the annual Arts West Artists' Retreat at Clear Lake.

The Artists' Retreat has had a long lasting relationship with the camp and the Gusdal family. A committee of Retreat supporters created the Darren Gusdal Memorial Bursary Fund to honour the memory of Darren Gusdal (1961-2014) who, together with his wife Janet, managed the Riding Mountain Conference Centre (Camp Wannakumbac) for more than 2 decades.
 

We graciously welcome contributions to this fund in order to help deserving emerging art students take part and reap the benefits of this eagerly anticipated annual retreat.  Contact us if you wish to contribute.
