The Art Gallery of Southwest Manitoba (AGSM), located in downtown Brandon, is a sophisticated venue for contemporary art exhibitions, with an artists' giftshop, gathering and working spaces for artists and creatives, with a variety of workshops held on creative art, clay and printmaking, for both youth and adults.

Artist Heart Friends gather and create in the winter on Saturday afternoons at the Greenspot in Brandon and during the summer they gather at different Plein Air locations in the Brandon and surrounding area.

Located in Souris Manitoba, this venue has an amazing selection of beautiful hand-crafted original art and artisan items, handmade clothing and accessories. Lagasse also holds art workshops in its 2 story historical building and provides retail consignment and workshop space opportunities to Manitoba artisans and artists and arts instructors. Souris is just a half hour from Brandon and it is well worth the trip!

The Manitoba Arts Council is an arm’s-length agency of the Province of Manitoba, established in 1965 “to promote the study, enjoyment, production and performance of works in the arts.” The Council makes awards to professional arts organizations and creative individuals in all art forms including arts education, literary arts, performing arts, and visual arts. The Council uses a peer assessment process in making awards.

Fostering Arts and Culture in Rural and Northern Manitoba, the Manitoba Arts Network connects, showcases, and promotes visual and performing artists with rural communities across Manitoba. The Network is dedicated to connecting Manitoba’s communities to the arts. This includes opportunities to participate their annual Rural and Northern Juried Art Show and Touring Visual Art programs along with their 210 Gallery Exhibition and Gift Boutique space.

The Manitoba Printmakers Association is located in Winnipeg. Their Martha Street Studio provides printmaking instruction, studio space , equipment use, and more. They also can generate quality limited edition prints from original art for artists.

MSA promotes and encourages Manitoba's emerging and professional visual artists. Members of the Society exhibit together, enjoy social events and participate in educational ventures, such as lectures, slide presentations and workshops. Every year they also organize the Provincial Annual Open Juried Competition and Exhibition, which allows both emerging and professional artists an equal opportunity to participate in a major exhibition. Members are also provided with access to exhibition spaces for solo and group exhibitions.

MAWA - Mentoring Artists for Women’s Art - encourages and supports the intellectual and creative development for creatives in the visual arts by providing an ongoing forum for education and critical dialogue, along with mentorship and residency opportunities. Artist Bootcamp Learning Series
